Our Process

Astro’s Flags takes place in Vidalia, Georgia where our flags start their journey to you.

We use the strongest American-sourced nylon. Our nylon is UV resistant, lightweight, and able to withstand the most intense storms. Astro Flag’s use of tec 73 thread is soft, but very strong and withstand any stitches.

Our expert seamstresses sew on four levels of double needle stitching making this flag almost unravel able! We use bar tack stitching to lock it all down! This flag is not moving! We wrap it all together into a locked stitch which pieces in place the last stitch.

Our seamstresses split the roller with red and white fabric and begin to sew the pieces together.

Once the strips are put together, they are cut to the appropriate length and get sent to have the star fields added. The star fields are then hand-sewn onto the stripes and then our seamstresses' hem around the entire flag.

After the two pieces are sewn together and the flag is hemmed, the grommet strip (which is another piece of our durable nylon is added on) is sewn on with a line of double needle stitching. The grommets are then placed onto the flag. The last and most important step of our flag making process is our label. Astro’s Flag label tops off our expert seamstress's handiwork.
